Purposes&Services of The Indian Subcontinent Partition Documentation (ISPaD) Project, Inc.
· In Bengal, as in the Indian subcontinent, there is a taboo in discussing the plight of minorities, and to search the whereabouts of the missing population of minorities. This portal attempts to break that taboo and tries to estimate the status of minorities in Bangladesh - the East Bengal of the erstwhile Bengal Province of British-ruled India - and answer an often-asked question: Where did/do my people go?
Primary Goals
Recently, there has been emphasis placed upon recognition of the reality that there is a collection of “Projects” that should not belittle their impact or significance. They are neither “constituent Projects to” nor “just part of” ISPaD. A recent developmen highlighting how such Projects are fundamental to The Indian Subcontinent Partition Documentation (ISPaD) Project has expanded. Among the Projects that constitute The ISPaD Project, the independent NGO that is The Probini Foundation has been added/included as a “Project” of The ISPaD Project, Inc. Each Project facilitates the growth and operation of all other Projects through utilization of a collective resources.
